Ms. Deborah Davidoff

Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! My name is Deborah Davidoff. I am originally from West Chester, PA near Philadelphia. I graduated from West Virginia University with both a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Elementary Education, with an emphasis in Special Education. For two years, I worked as a Resource Teacher with second, third, and fourth graders. I have also had the pleasure of teaching Second Grade and Fourth Grade here at Legacy. I am lucky to have always called Legacy home and I look forward to another joyful and rewarding year as Gifted Education Resource teacher!

I truly believe in having an excellent home and school connection. We are working together for the benefit of the children here! Please feel free to contact me at the school (703-957-4425) or via e-mail at with any questions or concerns.

Permission to Evaluate (Spanish)

Keep in mind that LCPS students may be evaluated for gifted services once annually. Therefore, 4th or 5th grade students who participated in the fall 2023 evaluation cycle are not eligible for re-evaluation until fall 2024. Similarly, participants in the spring 2024 eligibility cycle will be eligible for consideration again in spring 2025. LCPS delivers weekly gifted services to students in grades 4-8 who, through a multi-tiered identification process, are identified as advanced learners needing enrichment and/or extension services.

Elementary Permission to Evaluate forms (HARD COPIES) are due to the Gifted Resource Teacher at your child's school by January 26, 2024. Forms received after this date will not be accepted.
