Mrs. Amy Toms

Hi, I am Amy Toms and I am so excited to be your child’s Kindergarten Assistant. I have worked at Legacy for 12 years as an assistant teacher in Special Needs and Kindergarten. I substituted at Legacy for 2 years prior to that, and taught preschool for 4 years also. I love seeing the excitement of new learning on all the little kiddos faces.

I live in White Post, VA with my husband and 2 wild kitties. We enjoy gardening in our yard. and hiking the beautiful land around us. We have 2 daughters, Katelyn is 23 and graduated from Virginia Tech. She is living in Ohio and working on historical digitization. Emma is 21 and studies English and Business at George Mason. She also is the best barista at Blend
