Mrs. Christi Campbell - Director of School Counseling
Mrs. Campbell is a two time graduate of George Mason University. Her career began at her alma mater in the Office of Admissions before she transitioned to Fairfax County where she was a Career Center Specialist and school counselor for 10 years. In 2012, she moved across the border to Loudoun County to open John Champe High School as the Director of School Counseling. While at JCHS, she developed a data driven school counseling program in line with the ASCA National Model. These efforts were awarded by the American School Counselor’s Association with their coveted RAMP award in 2014.
Mrs. Campbell is excited to open another high school in LCPS! Lightridge High School is going to be a school that students want to go to! She looks forward to working with the Lightning staff to bring innovative and new ideas to the educational environment.
When she isn't working, Mrs. Campbell enjoys spending time with friends and family. Her husband, also a school counselor, works at South Lakes High School (where they met), her daughter cheers for Freedom High School and her son is a 2nd degree black belt. Walking and snuggling with her Maltipoo Miley is always a good stress relief!
