Ms. Brianne Allis
Hi! My name is Brie Allis and this is my fifth year at Woodgrove High School! I was born and raised in Fairfax County, Virginia, where I attended St. Luke’s Catholic Elementary and Paul VI Catholic High School. After graduating, I received a B.S. in Social Sciences and minor in Education from James Madison University in 2002. Following college I started teaching World History at Herndon High School in Herndon, Virginia. I taught Social Studies at Herndon for 13 years before leaving to come to Woodgrove. I received a master’s degree in Special Education from the University of Virginia in 2007 and a master's degree in Educational Leadership from George Mason University in 2019. At Woodgrove I teach World History II and I am the sponsor for the Class of 2020. I have been married to my husband, Matt, for 15 years and we have three sons, Michael, Brian and John. I am so excited to teach at Woodgrove and can’t wait to see the amazing opportunities this school year has in store. Go Wolverines!
