Degrees and Certifications:
Mr. Thomas Acquino
Mr. Acquino is currently in his 7th year of teaching math, all of which has been at Woodgrove. He has taught Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, and Advanced Functions and Modeling (AFAM). Currently, Mr. Acquino is teaching AFAM and Geometry. Mr. Acquino has been an assistant tech to the Woodgrove Marching Wolverines for the past 7 years, as well as having played saxophone in marching band for 8 years prior to becoming an instructor. He is also the current director for the Pep Band. Overall, Mr. Acquino has been participating in Fine Arts programs for 19 years.
Previously, Mr. Acquino has been the co-sponsor for the Sophomore Class Council and Junior Class Council. This year is his 2nd year as a co-sponsor of the Student Council Association. He has a passion for working for the student body in multiple capacities and teaching mathematics. His goal is to use mathematics as a platform to teach students skills that can be used in all walks of life.
Mr. Acquino earned his B.S.Ed. with a concentration in Mathematics from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania and is currently enrolled in the M.Ed. program for Educational Leadership at James Madison University.
