Hello and welcome to 4th grade!

I am ecstatic to be a part of the 4th-grade team this year and look forward to having a wonderful year with all my students!

This is my 4th year as a Pinebrook teacher! This year will be my second year on the 4th-grade team as I had previously taught 3rd grade. Before making the move to Virginia, I worked as a long-term substitute and summer school teacher for 4 years in Pennsylvania while I completed my education certification courses. In addition to my education degree, I also hold a degree in psychology which allowed me to work as a traveling therapist in the school setting. 

If you are a Pittsburgh fan, enjoy iced tea or golfing (Arnold Palmer), have eaten a banana split, or have watched Mister Rogers Neighborhood, then you're in the right place!

I was born and raised in small-town Latrobe, Pennsylvania, but I have thoroughly enjoyed my time thus far in NOVA. 

In my spare time, I enjoy cuddling my cats, Miko and Moira Rose, kayaking, biking, or sunbathing.

I look forward to building long-lasting bonds with you and your child throughout this school year!
