Welcome to 2023-24 School Year - Supervisor's Message
Loudoun County Public Schools Pre-K programs, STEP & Head Start, provide a quality preschool experience with comprehensive services at no cost to qualifying families. Your family may qualify for these programs if you:- reside in Loudoun County, Virginia
- have a child who will be 4 by September 30, or 3 if you live in certain areas of Sterling or Western Loudoun
- meet income guidelines, or
- receive Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), and/or homeless per definition of the McKinney-Vento Act
- have a child with a diagnosed disability or an IEP (Individualized Education Plan)

Head Start is a federally funded preschool program for low-income families with a child who will be 4-years-old by September 30th of the school year, or a child who will be 3-years-old by September 30th and live in certain areas of Sterling or Western Loudoun.For more information click on the logo or here
