Atoosa Reaser, a Loudoun community member for nearly 20 years, lives in the Algonkian District with her husband and son, where she volunteers for LINK Against Hunger and as a merit badge counselor for Boy Scouts. At LCPS, she has served as an executive board member for the Minority Student Achievement Advisory Committee, a classroom volunteer, PTA leader, and substitute teacher.
Atoosa is licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia to teach and has personal experience with the gifted and talented programs, special education, and Individualized Education Programs.
As a member of the Virginia State Bar, Atoosa practices law part-time. Combining her interest in youth, government, and law, she has been qualified by the Virginia Supreme Court as a guardian ad litem (an attorney who represents the best interest of children) and was unanimously appointed by the Board of Supervisors to a team that administer services for at-risk youth.
Atoosa pairs her vision of providing our children opportunities to reach their full potential with a belief that the integrity of our community depends on each member participating in their own government.
