Harris Mahedavi, his wife, Dr. Sadia Mahedavi, and their two children have called Belmont Greene, Ashburn and Loudoun County their home for the past eight years. The Mahedavi children attend LCPS’ Trailside and Belmont Station schools.
Harris has been a small business owner for the past 10 years. Prior to starting his business, he worked with the Big 4 consulting companies helping a number of clients. Harris received his bachelor of science degree in Computer Science from Drexel University, in Philadelphia.
As an active volunteer in the community, Harris has served as a soccer coach for both boys and girls with Loudoun Soccer, as a cub master for local Cub Scouts, as an assistant scout master for Boy Scouts, and as a Loudoun County Family Services Advisory Board Member. Harris and his family are part of the local ADAMS community. In his spare time, Harris enjoys hiking, camping, golf, tennis, and badminton, but more importantly spending time with his family.

Committee Assignments: Mr. Mahedavi chairs the Student Services Committee, Audit Committee and serves on the Communications & Outreach Committee, Student Behavior and Accountability Committee and the Finance & Operations Committee. He also serves as the liaison to the Minority Student Achievement Advisory Committee (MSAAC).
