Mrs. Wadley, Christy

Mrs. Wadley has served in the education field as a special educator for eleven years, seven of which were for Loudoun County Public Schools.  This is her third year serving as an administrator at River Bend.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and holds a Master’s degree in Education from George Washington University.  She takes pride in being a life-long learner and promoting knowledge sharing with both students and teachers.  She strives to stay ahead of the various learning curves in education.  She has sought out relevant and pertinent methodologies, including multi-sensory instruction (Fundamentals of Literacy Instruction and Orton-Gillingham trained), and is trained in Restorative Practices and Circles.  Mrs. Wadley truly believes in student advocacy, encourages student centered learning, and equitable classroom practices.  She is dedicated to increasing academic success and memorable experiences for all students at River Bend Middle School. 

In her spare time, Mrs. Wadley enjoys spending time with her husband, three children, and dog.  She enjoys reading, DIY projects, being outdoors, exercising, and traveling.
