Mrs. Talboo

Hello! My name is Stephanie Talboo and I am excited about returning to Ashburn Elementary as a School Counselor for the 2023-2024 school year. I started my career as a classroom teacher in LCPS, teaching Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades in 2006. I soon realized my passion was helping students who needed additional support to be successful in and out of school and started my degree in School Counseling. In 2010, I became a school counselor at Park View High School, where I also coached volleyball. In 2017, I made the transition back to working with younger students at Ashburn Elementary.

I received a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio and earned a Master’s of Education in School Counseling from George Mason University.

I love spending time with my family, including my 3 children and rescue dog, Leo. I enjoy being active, spending time outside, reading, traveling and relaxing at the beach.
