      Administration 2:

      • AP tests will be administered May 18-21 and May 24-28
      • Students taking a digital test will be expected to test at home, using their LCPS-issued device. Testing at home allows students to test in an environment that mimics their instruction and in a comfortable and safe setting.

    General AP Test Registration Information:

    **Registration is now closed.**

Students, parents, or guardians are responsible for the cost of the AP exam. Each exam is $86.00, with the exception of AP Seminar and AP Research, which are $134. Each school’s on-line payment portal will open on September 17, 2020 and close on November 6, 2020 at 5:00 PM. Within the portal, students will need to select the name of the AP test(s) they wish to take. Here is the link for the payment portal. Please contact your student’s school to discuss the process for accepting cash or check payments.

In addition to payment, students must also register on the College Board website though AP Classroom to register for an exam.  AP teachers will provide join codes in early fall.

Students who register for an AP exam after November 6, will be charged a $40.00 late fee, per late registration, in addition to the exam fee. Refunds will be provided to students who cancel their AP exam or fail to test. Requests for a refund should be emailed to the School Testing Coordinator

If a family needs to arrange for a payment plan or anticipates difficulty in paying for the exam, the family should speak confidentially with the school Principal or School Testing Coordinator. If your child receives free or reduced lunch, AP exam fees are covered by LCPS, but your student must still complete the online registration for the exam(s).
