Degrees and Certifications:

Dr. Robinson

Welcome to an exciting learning adventure in Dr. Robinson’s First Grade Classroom.

I am very excited to be teaching at Buffalo Trail. It is a privilege to be your teacher, we are going to have a wonderful journey together. I have been in education for many years. Prior to education, I worked in the technology field, as a computer network supervisor. I was nominated for teacher of the year in 2016, at Rosa Lee Carter Elementary. I love education, and working for Loudoun County Public Schools. I have taught second grade, and fourth grade through Loudoun County Public Schools and I have a curiosity for learning that is endless.

I believe the partnership between teachers and parents is the most important factor in children becoming lifelong learners. Though I do not believe in homework, I do believe every child should read, write and practice math daily. This practice and exercises help a child’s brain develop and grow.

Outside of school, I participate in even more education. I teach students ranging from middle school to graduate level. I continue to take classes, as well as participate in research studies about education and brain development.  I look forward to sharing this curiosity with your children during the coming year. Thank you for sharing this year with me!
