Ashley Driscoll, Orchestra, Guitar, AP Music Theory

Ms. Driscoll is the director of orchestra, guitar, and AP Music Theory at Independence High School, as well as the conductor of the Loudoun Symphony Youth Orchestra's Concert Orchestra. Ms. Driscoll completed undergraduate degrees in Cello Performance and Music Education, and Master of Music degrees in Cello Performance and Orchestral Conducting from West Virginia University (WVU). Formerly she was the graduate assistant conductor of the West Virginia University Symphony Orchestra and has guest conducted youth and community ensembles across West Virginia. Ms. Driscoll has attended the Paul Rolland String Pedagogy Workshop, The Ohio State University String Teacher Workshop, and held a teaching assistantship at the Interlochen Arts Camp in Michigan. Additionally, Ms. Driscoll is a registered Suzuki cello teacher (Units 1-5) and remains an active performer in community and recital events.
