Mrs. Erica Sreniawski
-
This is Mrs. Sreniawski's fifth year of teaching and second year at Discovery ES. She will be working with students in the 3rd grade for the 2023-2024 school year.
Mrs. Sreniawski was born in Brazil, and later moved to Arlington, VA to complete her secondary education. She has degrees in International Relations of Latin America and Spanish from the College of William and Mary.
Before becoming a teacher, Mrs. Sreniawski was a Communications Technology and Government Consultant, then a Senior Training Specialist for a Fortune 500 company. Later she ventured into entrepreneurship and became the owner of multiple gyms in the DMV area.
Her teaching experience has varied from being a Spanish teaching assistant at the College of William and Mary, dance choreographer/instructor, and substitute teacher for Loudoun County Public Schools.
Mrs. Sreniawski completed the Career Switcher Program offered at Shenandoah University with an endorsement in English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL). Being an English Learner (EL) Teacher is very meaningful to her because she was once an EL student herself. She can definitely relate to the students and is eager to help them succeed.
Mrs. Sreniawski loves to dance, learn about different cultures, and travel around the world. She has been to 30 countries.
Mrs. Sreniawski speaks Portuguese and Spanish.
