Mrs. Lisa McCafferty

Hello Red Wings!

My name is Lisa McCafferty and this is my fifth year teaching English Learners (ELs) at Cardinal Ridge.

I have a BS degree from Emerson College and an M.Ed. from George Mason University. Before becoming a teacher, I worked in public relations and development.  My family and I have lived in South Riding for over 20 years.  My twins attended Little River and J.M. Lunsford and graduated from Freedom High School in 2016. I have loved Loudoun County Public Schools both as a parent and as a teacher.  When I am not teaching, I love to read (especially science fiction), bake, practice yoga and spend time with my family and our dog, Finn.

I'm looking forward to another great year at Cardinal Ridge supporting the growth of our awesome EL scholars.
