Meet Mrs. Stevens

Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Meaghan Stevens

My name is Meaghan Stevens and I am really excited to be the Librarian and Instructional Facilitator of Technology at Bannker!  I have had a love of reading my whole life and enjoy exploring technology and how to integrate it into education.  I have worked in education for eighteen years.  I was one of the fifth grade teachers at Lovettsville Elementary, I was a charter faculty member at Rock Ridge High School as the Library Media Specialists and worked at Rosa Lee Carter as a fourth grade teacher. Previously, I taught fourth grade and kindergarten in Richmond before returning to Loudoun County. I graduated from Potomac Falls High School so I am a product of Loudoun County Public Schools.  After high school I attended Longwood University where I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and later my Master Degree in Library Science.

My main love outside of school is reading; you will always find me in the middle of one book if not two or three.  I love to watch movies with my family and play with my two adorable little boys. I strive to make learning a great experience for all of my students and hope they come away from my lessons with a head full of knowledge and a heart filled with excitement. Feel free to contact me at any time.
