English 9H
    English 9H course includes, but is not limited to:
    • Vocabulary (taken from literature)
    • Literature Units (Short Story, Nonfiction, Drama, Novels)
               Major literary works will include:
                      Romeo and Juliet 
                      Of Mice and Men   
                      To Kill a Mockingbird
    Grammar (Punctuation, Style, Usage)
    • Composition (Expository, Informational, Literary Response, Personal Narrative)
    • Research Projects (how to's, style)
    • Oral Presentations (Individual and Group)
    • Independent Reading - students are expected to bring a personal reading book with them to class.
