Degrees and Certifications:

Charlotte Bryan

This is Mrs. Bryan's fifth year teaching in Loudoun County and she is so excited to share this Waxpool Elementary adventure with her fifth grade piranhas!  Mrs. Bryan earned her Bachelor of Science in Finance from Virginia Tech in 1990.  Inspired by her love of teaching, she returned to school in 2013 to receive her Masters in Education from Marymount University.  While studying at Marymount, Mrs. Bryan was excited to serve as the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Math) president organizing and participating in science fairs and outreach events in community schools.

When Mrs. Bryan is not teaching her fabulous fifth graders, she can be found with her husband and four children enjoying plays, musical theater, a Redskins football game, or a great cup of coffee!  Mrs. Bryan also loves to travel and experience other cultures.  She has traveled to Thailand, China, France, and even had the opportunity to work as a service teacher in Costa Rica!

Mrs. Bryan has lived in Ashburn with her family for twenty years and is thrilled to have the opportunity to teach and volunteer in her own community! She is looking forward to a great year of collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity with her fifth graders at the "Pool"!
