Welcome to 3^rd Grade!!!

My name is Julia Thibault and I am committed to collaborative learning that engages students, staff, families and the community. After teaching 2^nd grade for 5 years, I was thrilled to join the team of educators that helped open Waxpool. What a year it turned out to be, and we have learned so much.  I can’t wait to see how we will use our PBL and Computational Thinking skills to make this year even more amazing!

I graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Master of Teaching and have undergraduate degree in International Studies. In my free time I love painting, crafting, hiking, and reading. But, one of my favorite things to do is spend time with my husband and two spoiled dogs (Lizzy and Peanut).
