Dr. Fredericka Harris is the Assistant Principal at Tuscarora HS and is responsible for students with last names from H-N.
Fredericka Harris comes to Tuscarora High School from serving as the Principal/Director at Grafton School and the Principal for North Spring Academy for many years. Dr. Harris holds an Ed.D. degree in Administration and Supervision and a Master of Arts in Special Education. Dr. Harris holds a professional license in Special Education and Administration and Leadership. Dr. Harris’s career has consisted of teaching at all levels in Special Education. She has worked in roles such as a testing coordinator, serving as an at- risk youth counselor, directing a non-profit organization and working in Public Safety. She also has worked as an Adjunct English instructor, an assistant girls’ basketball coach and a homebound instructor. Her passion is fighting for equitable education for all and researching cures for mental illnesses. The Chicago native enjoys life with her four daughters, two grandsons and her Goldendoodle. Dr. Harris currently supervises the English, Science, CTE and Fine Arts Department at Tuscarora High School.
