ACCESS test for EL students
The ACCESS for ELs 2.0® is a large-scale test that addresses the English language development standards and model performance indicators developed by the WIDA Consortium to assess the four language domains of listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
Annual English Language Proficiency Testing As required in Section 1005 of the Every Student Succeeds Act of 2015 (ESSA), school divisions must annually assess the English language proficiency of English learners in kindergarten through grade 12.

The ACCESS test is generally schedule in February/March. Score reports are received in June and are generally sent out at the start of the next school year.
ACCESS score parent reports will be sent home the first week of school. Please contact your child's EL teacher if you do not receive the parent score report.
