Welcome to First Grade! My name is Shannon Haugen (pronounced Hogan) and I am delighted to have the opportunity to welcome you to my classroom. The 2023-2024 school year marks my fifth year teaching with Loudoun County Public Schools. I am originally from Frederick, Maryland, which is where I earned my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. I am currently pursuing my Master's degree through George Mason University. In my free time I enjoy going to National Parks, hiking, or watching baseball.
