Mrs. Spencer

Mrs. Spencer is a Resource Teacher at Evergreen Mill Elementary.  She is very excited to begin her third year as a teacher and co-teacher with thrid and fourth grades here at Evergreen Mill.  Mrs. Spencer has a Bachelor of Science degree in business with a minor in computer science from Towson University in Maryland and a Master’s degree in special education from George Mason University.  Prior to teaching at Evergreen Mill she was a special education teaching assistant at Cedar Lane Elementary in Ashburn.  She is passionate about reading and reaching every student’s academic needs.  She believes that every child deserves to learn by utilizing their strengths and affinities.  Mrs. Spencer and her husband are Maryland natives but now call Ashburn, VA their home for 25 years.  Her two children are both Loudoun County Public School graduates and James Madison University and Radford University graduates.  Her daughter is a LCPS third grade teacher at Cedar Lane Elementary and her son is a sales representative for Sunbelt Rentals.  In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, going to the beach and spending time with her family and friends.
