Mrs. Taj

Habiba Taj is thrilled to be a librarian at Madison’s Trust Elementary School. This is her second year at Madison's Trust. She was a Welcome Center Assessor before that and she moved to Loudoun County from Chesterfield, Virginia in January of 2018 with her husband and two grown-up children.

Habiba received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Psychology from Karachi University in Pakistan. She received her Master’s in Special Education from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Post-Baccalaureate in Library Media Specialist from Virginia Commonwealth University as well. She also has a license as a Global Career Facilitator Development and speaks Urdu, Hindi, Gujrati and Punjabi. She began her teaching career 23 years ago in Chesterfield County Public Schools. She was a special education teacher and librarian.

She loves to travel with her family and has traveled to more than twenty-five countries. She also enjoys reading, cooking, doing yoga, and spending time with her family and friends.

She cannot wait to meet her students and families at Madison’s Trust and spread the love of books and reading.
