Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Kassakatis

Ashley Kassakatis is thrilled to begin her eighth year as an educator. This will be her second year here at Belmont Station, and fourth year in Loudoun County. Mrs. Kassakatis attended the University of Texas at Arlington, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies. Although born and raised in the state of Texas, she has made a new life in Virginia and is happy to call it home since 2016. Mrs. Kassakatis has previously taught third grade, but her heart is forever fifth! She is ecstatic to begin her seventh year instructing fifth grade, and can’t wait to see the progress her students will make as we take on this unique school year.

When Mrs. Kassakatis is not in the classroom she enjoys outdoor activities with her family. She has two energetic children, and one lazy dog! With her family she enjoys traveling, attending sporting events, and exploring the Loudoun County area. Mrs. Kassakatis is also an avid Cricut user and enjoys making crafts such as T-shirts or classroom decor that have her own unique spin on it!

Mrs. Kassakatis is looking forward to another year of being a "virtual" shining star here at Belmont Station.
