Hello Broad Run Family!

I am excited to enter my 18th year in education. I am passionate about learning and development for students and teachers. This is my third year at Broad Run High School serving as the Dean of Special Education. At Broad Run, I am the coordinator of eligibilty, homebound services, child study,  and IEP meetings. In addition, I am co-coach for the Unified Sports Track Team. As an educator, I started my career as an English teacher, AVID teacher, Boys Tennis coach and AVID site coordinator in LCPS. In addition, I have mentored new hires, facilitated the Best Practice Institute for Secondary educators, been a guest lecturer for George Washington University on Individualized Education plans. This year, I am excited to collaborate with families, staff and support the students at Broad Run for another successful year.

I have lived in many states throughout the years, but I am a Loudoun resident now. My children graduated from LCPS schools. I love all all activiites outside including running, hiking, tennis and biking. As an eighth child, I value community, collaboration, and team work.
