• Monday, March 25 (B Day)

     The Yearbook Club celebration will be after school this Thursday in Computer Lab 1. Members are asked to bring $3 to cover the costs of the party, where we will also discuss yearbook sales and distribution.
     Community Builders: Field Trip forms can be picked up in Ms. McCormack's or Mr. Stephenson's lab. They are due ASAP as there are only 20 spots available. Please bring your $10 along with your form.
    Young Entrepreneurs: There will be a meeting on Wednesday, Mar. 27th in computer lab 1. We will be working on Business Plans for Shark Tank Week.
    Hey fashion designers! Hey runway models! If you like designing outfits and shopping for clothes, then the Trashion Show may be for you! Design and model outfits made from recycled materials, and you could win $100! Permission slips can be found in all three house offices. If you have any questions, please ask Ms. Cuddihy in room C-5 or Mr. Radow in room A-17.
    Attention Staff and Students! Broad Run High School will be presenting the play "Newsies" which will be having performances April 4-7 at 7:00 pm. We will have a sensory-friendly matinee performance at 2:00 pm on Sunday, April 7. (House lights will be on, no flashing lights, and sounds will be lowered.) After the matinee, we will hold a talk back to our feeder elementary and middle school students where they can meet and greet the cast and play theatre games! Tickets are $10 for students and $15 for adults.

    Farmwell's Science Olympiad Team participated in a state competition last Saturday at the University of Virginia.     Attention Students! Tomorrow, Thursday evening, the following students from our school will be participating in the 2019 Step Up Loudoun Youth Competition from 5-9pm at the LCPS Administration Building. Step Up Loudoun Youth Competition encourages middle and high school youth across the county to identify an issue in their school, neighborhood or community, create a plan to address that issue, and implement the plan. The goal is to encourage, support and reward the youth of Loudoun County for making positive changes in their own lives and the lives of others. Please wish them good luck! They’re choosing to make a difference in our community and we’re proud of their commitment!     Attention 7th Graders ... if you are attending today's NACHO AVERAGE DINNER PARTY, you will wait until the 2nd bell this afternoon and report to your science teacher. Again, if you are attending the 7th grade party today after school, report to your science teacher on the second bell (when bus riders are dismissed). Only those who have returned a permission form and paid may attend.
    Hey book club, here are the Farmwell winners. Second place is a tie between When Friendship Followed me Home and Scar Island. Drum roll, please! For first place, the winner is Ghost by Jason Reynolds!
    This Friday and Saturday is the All County Orchestra event taking place at Briar Woods High School. If taking the bus, please meet at Broad Run at 8:45AM Friday morning. Don't forget your instrument, music, and lunch for Friday! Bring money to buy pizza for Saturday's lunch. See Ms. Geiger with any questions!

    Farmwell Rubik’s Team is going to compete in the Virginia Regional Rubik’s Cube Tournament today at Glen Allen, VA.
