     BRM Unified Mental Health Team

Each LCPS middle school has a Unifed Mental Health Team (UMHT). The purpose of the Unified Mental Health Team at Blue Ridge is to promote and support the social, emotional, and behavioral health of all students. According to the World Health Organization, mental health is “a state of well-being in which the individual realizes his or her abilities, can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively and fruitfully, and is able to make a contribution to his or her community.” We believe that mental health is vital for all students to be successful in school and in life. The Blue Ridge Unified Mental Health Team is committed to supporting the broader needs of its students to maximize student success.
