Certified school librarians co-teach information literacy and reading, consult with teachers and students, to make the library a learning space that embraces and promotes deeper learning through authentic, challenging problems.

Drama by Raina Telgemeier was moved to the middle schools by the Superintendent in January 2020.
The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas was retained in the high school ELA curriculum as both a whole group and book club choice and retained in the middle and high school libraries by the Superintendent in June 2021.
Scythe by Neal Shusterman was removed as a whole book and read aloud from the middle school ELA curriculum , retained as a book club choice in the 8th grade dystopia unit, and retained in the secondary libraries by the Superintendent in July 2021.
Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon was retained in the high school ELA curriculum and secondary libraries by the Superintendent in July 2021.
Monday's Not Coming by Tiffany Jackson (internal review) was retained as a book club and independent reading choice in the high school ELA curriculum, retained in the high school library collection and moved from the middle school library collection to the high school collection by the Superintendent in June 2021.
