The Algonkian Digital Citizenship Educational team provides innovated instruction using technology to increase student learning and understanding of what it means to be a good digital citizen using today's 21st century technology skills. Our current focus is to provide resources and instructional support to the Algonkian staff and students for the implementation of eventual Bring Your Own Technology school initiatives. (BYOT) This includes Common Sense Media Digital Certification. The Technology Resource Teacher, the Libraian and School Counselor will work towards increasing digital citizenship skills amongst staff and students through the lesson plans and activities provided by Common Sense Media Curriculum and their Digital Passport program.
