Mrs. Darlene Bell
Hello! My name is Darlene Bell and I am happy to be teaching Kindergarten at Sully! I received my Bachelor of Science Degrees in both Elementary Education (PreK-6) and Special Education (K-12) with concentrations in Specific Learning Disabilities and Emotional Disturbances. I have traveled the country and the world as a military spouse and taught in many places, but most recently here in Loudoun County where our three children have grown up! I love dogs, playing in my garden, and rooting for the JMU Dukes, where our youngest will be finishing her degree! Hands-on experiences that are authentic to each child make learning more meaningful and fun, and help the students make an impact on their world! Kindergarten means a garden of children, and I cannot wait to meet all of my little learners and welcome them into our Sully family! You can contact me at: Darlene.Bell@lcps.org

Mrs. Bobbie Colbert
Hello, my name is Bobbie Colbert, and this is my sixteenth year at Sully Elementary. While in school for my nursing degree, which I received in 2006, I substituted at Sully for a while and fell in love with teaching, so I went back to school to then receive my Child Development degree. I’ve had several roles at Sully and my love for my students has only continued to grow! Throughout my time, I’ve gotten the chance to watch all my children attend Sully and be a part of many of my very own student’s graduations. When I’m not at Sully, I enjoy spending time with my husband going on walks, finishing my puzzles, and playing board games with my children! I can’t wait to have an amazing year together!

Mrs. Nina Neal
Hello! My name is Nina Neal, and I am from Maryland. I went to the University of Maryland, College Park (Go Terps!) where I got my B.S. in Family Studies. I have lived in Virginia for over 10 years. I have two kids that go to school in Loudoun County, and I have really loved working and having kids in this county.
I have always worked with children. I was a preschool teacher for seven years. After teaching for a few years, I was promoted to Director of Finance for the school I was working at, but I missed teaching after three years. I decided to make a small career change to the public school system. I received my teaching license from Shenandoah University in EL. This is my 7th year at Sully, and it has been like a second home. The students and families have been great to work with. I look forward to many years teaching your students and helping them become the best they can be!
I believe that young children learn through hands-on activities, especially when they are learning a new language. I strive to provide that for all my English Language students. If you have any questions or would like to reach out to me, my email is nina.neal@lcps.org. You can also find me the Kindergarten hallway. I am looking forward to having a wonderful year of learning and growing in Kindergarten!
