Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year.
Students and Parents, I am looking forward to working with you this year.
The 2020-2021 school year is Mrs. Renee Zahora's 14th year in Loudoun County and third at
Riverside HS. It is Mrs. Zahora's 28th year of teaching.
Mrs. Zahora has a B.A. in History and a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from George Mason University.
She came to Loudoun County having previously worked for the CIA’s Office of Training and Education
and Fairfax County Public Schools. During her 14 years at South Lakes High School in Reston; she taught
International Baccalaureate as well as World History I, II and US Virginia History. Additionally, she served
as department head for five years.
In 2007, Mrs. Zahora was hired by LCPS to open Stone Hill Middle in Brambleton, taught 7th grade US History for 11
years and served as head of the department for 9 years.
In 2018, she joined the RVHS staff.
Office Hours
I am available for help every morning at 8:15 and after school on Monday and Wednesday.
