Welcome to fourth grade! My name is Jenna Krivansky and I am eager to begin the upcoming 2019-2020 school year. This is my second year as a coyote at Rosa Lee Carter! I am incredibly passionate about teaching and my hope is to instill the love of learning in students. I grew up in southeastern Pennsylvania and attended The Pennsylvania State University where I received my Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education PreK-4. I played volleyball at the collegiate level and coached a local team for a portion of my college career. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy staying active outside, trying local foods, and exploring the Northern Virginia and DC area.
Regarding my philosophy of education, my goal is that all of my students understand the value of what they are learning. I believe it is extremely important for students to develop the important critical thinking and life skills that will help them be successful in any field they desire in the future. Your child can look forward taking part in personalized learning and variety collaborative activities throughout the year. I strive to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for my students, and encourage open communication and collaboration with parents to ensure that my student’s needs are met.
Please feel free to contact me at anytime throughout the school year to schedule a meeting or a phone call. I am eager to meet and begin working with each and every one of you and look forward to a wonderful school year!
