Hello.  My name is Linda Accetta, and I am delighted to be returning to Smarts Mill Middle School as one of your Reading Specialists.  Originally, I am from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where I earned my B.S. in Elementary Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.  I spent 10 years as a classroom teacher, before going back and earning my M.S. in Education/ Reading Specialist from Shenandoah University.  This year will be the start of my 12th year as a Reading Specialist and I am excited to meet my all my new Mavericks.

I live in Middletown, Virginia with my 3 children, Jacob-18, Ethan-16, and Ella-14.  In my free time, I of course, love to read, spend time with family and friends,hike, and travel.  (Especially to  the beach.) This year I will be entering my 22nd year in education, and am very much looking forward to meeting and working with you all.
