Welcome to Liberty! As a resource teacher, I will be working with third grade this year to support student learning. I am so happy to be startingmy second year at Liberty, such a great place to teach and learn!
I origninally earned my teaching degree in elementary and special education from Duquesne University in 2000. Since then, I have been busy teaching special education, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades. I also earned my Master's degree in Education and Human Development from George Washington University in 2010, and my certificate for TESOL (Teaching English to Speaker of Other Languages) this past Spring, also from George Washington University.
I love living here in South Riding with my husband and two daughters. My oldest is here at Liberty in first grade this year, and my baby is 2 1/2 years old. Some of my interests include spending time with my family, traveling, reading, going to the movies, exercising, and enjoying a relaxed meal with my husband.
