Ms. Lolita Bixon

  • I’m an occupational therapist at Lowes Island Elementary School. My background is diverse, which I like to think helps me to have a broader perspective when working with my students. I was born and raised in Lithuania where I received an undergraduate degree in Speech Pathology and Special Education, and then earned my Master’s in Occupational Therapy from Tuft’s University while leaving here in US. This is my 15th year working as an Occupational Therapist in LCPS. Prior to this, I worked in DC Public Schools and Arlington Public Schools. I love the school environment and working with kids who think and learn differently from their typical peers. I have one daughter and enjoy seeing her build her own life full of opportunities.

Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions or concerns
