Mrs. Hartmann is excited to be a part of the first grade team at Catoctin Elementary.  Mrs. Hartmann is entering her 24th year of teaching with 19 of those years being in Loudoun County.  She has taught in Loudoun County, Baltimore City and Washington County Maryland.  Mrs. Hartmann has taught grades K-4, as well as being a reading specialist.  Mrs. Hartmann enjoys a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable to take risks.  Mrs. Hartmann enjoys reading and loves everything to do with literacy.  

Outisde of school, Mrs. Hartmann enjoys spending time with husband, 2 teenage children and her dog Minka.  Mrs. Hartmann enjoys spending time outdoors and especially likes the fall season where she can sit by the fire and roast marshmallows with her family.
