Mrs. O'Halloran

Hello There! My name is Cheryl O’Halloran and I am excited to be a part of the Buffalo Trail Kindergarten Teaching Team since 2010! I have been teaching in the field of Early Childhood for over 20 years in private schools and made the transition to LCPS four years ago. I have taught Preschool, Pre-K, Full Day Kindergarten, and even worked for a major educational publishing company as an editor for teacher’s edition and student's edition textbooks. Helping children to reach their full potential and having fun while doing it is what I strive for in my classroom. I believe a positive Kindergarten experience lays the foundation for the many school years ahead.

I am originally from New York where I received my B.A in History and Elementary Education and then my M.S. Ed. in Early Childhood Education. My husband and I have lived on Long Island, in New Jersey, and then moved to Virginia and have never been happier. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, spoiling my dog, and relaxing with a good book.
