• Dr. Tomlinson has taught for Loudoun County Public Schools since 2012. Prior to this, he taught for 3 years in Montgomery County Public Schools in Maryland. He attained a Batchelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from Auburn Univerity (2000), a Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering from North Carolina State University (2003), and a Doctoral Degree in Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering from North Carolina State University (2005). He also worked as a Postdoctoral Associate in The Physics Department at The University of Sheffield, England from 2006-2008 where he was an Experience Researcher in The POLYFILM Marie Curie Research Training Network. 

    Dr. Tomlinson currently teaches AOS Senior Independent Research, AOS Junior Independent Research, AOS Sophomore Integrated Science, & AOS Sophomore Research. He also coaches RoboLoCo - Loudoun County's own FIRST Robotics Team.
