Mr. Poland enters his 15th year teaching in LCPS and his first year at the Academies of Loudoun.  He spent his first 14 years at Stone Bridge High School teaching Math and Computer Science.  He has coached football and basketball at Loudoun County High School and Stone Bridge High School.

Mr. Poland received his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with a Minor in Computer Science at Dickinson College, where he also played football.  He earned his Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus of Integrating Technology in the Schools from George Mason University.
