Hello! My name is Mrs. Paine (Papuzza) and I am so excited to be your teacher this year. This will be my second year here at PNB, and my sixth year teaching overall. I grew up in Colonie, New York, and before coming to Pinebrook have taught in North Carolina (Special Education Grades K-5) and Fairfax (2nd Grade). I earned my bachelor's degree from The College of Saint Rose, and then went to John's Hopkins University for my Master's Degree so that I could learn all about teaching English Language Learners. 

When I'm not at school, I like to spend time at home with my husband and dog, Bella.  I love to go shopping and hang out with my friends whenever I can. I also enjoy running and trying new foods. 

I am so looking forward to learning all about you and how I can best help you have the absolute best third grade year possible. All I ask is that you come to school with a positive attitude and ready to learn:)
