Degrees and Certifications:

Ms. Tatyana Broughton

My name is Tatyana Broughton and I’m thrilled to be a part of the Creighton’s Corner Elementary School family. This is my fourth year as an EL teacher for kindergarten and first grade at Creighton’s Corner. After earning my degree in International Relations and Russian from Brigham Young University, I worked for the International Consumer Electronics Show for several years before staying home to raise my children. Once they started elementary school, I began substitute teaching in Loudoun County and teaching Pre-K at a local preschool. I recognized my passion for teaching children and returned to school to earn a teaching license, with an ELL endorsement.

I currently live in Ashburn and outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family. I have a daughter attending college at UVA and a son that is a senior at Briar Woods High School.  You can often find me at sporting events cheering on my son's high school teams or walking and hiking with my three dogs. I also love to read and travel. Coming from a multicultural family, I have a love and appreciation for other cultures and languages and look forward to not only teaching your children, but learning about their unique heritage as well.
