Degrees and Certifications:

Welcome to Kindergarten!

Hello!  My name is Jessica Pack and I am very excited about beginning a new year in kindergarten at Waterford Elementary School.  This is my sixth year at Waterford, and my fifteenth year teaching in Loudoun County.  In addition to kindergarten, I have also taught first and fourth grade. I have a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education from Oswego State University of New York and a Masters Degree in Reading Education from the University of Virginia.  My family and I live in Purcellville where my children, Danny and Hailey, attend Loudoun Valley High School.  My husband, Paul, is the principal at Liberty Elementary School in South Riding.

Kindergarten is such an exciting year, full of new experiences both academically and socially.  We will be learning to read and write, of course, but we will also learn many math skills, such as creating graphs, identifying coins and even addition and subtraction.  We will be studying famous people such as George Washington, Abraham Lincoln and Martin Luther King, Jr. as well as Science topics such as animal and plant life cycles and recycling.  We will also be meeting new friends, practicing thinking and problem solving skills and learning to work together with partners and groups.

Feel free to contact me with any questions you may have throughout the school year!
