Mrs. Vinson - Second Grade
Aloha and welcome to the second grade!
My name is Mrs. Vinson. I am an Army BRAT and have lived in several places in and out of the country, but I call Kansas home. I went to the University of Pittsburgh on a swimming scholarship and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Marketing. In 2005, I went back to school at Shenandoah University and earned my teaching certificate. This will be my 9th year with Loudoun County Public schools and my 5th year as a Creighton’s Corner Colt. I have taught Kindergarten, 1st grade and 2nd grade.
Mr. Vinson and I moved from Charlotte, NC to Virginia in 2005. We live in Ashburn with our daughter Riley, our son Camden, and our 1 year old Goldendoodle named Oakley. We are big sports fans so when I’m not at school you can find me on a soccer or football field cheering loudly for my kids or watching my Pittsburgh Steelers. Teaching is my dream job, painting and exercising are my favorite ways to sharpen the saw, and if I could live anywhere it would be near the ocean in Hawaii.
Ohana means family and we are going to have the best year in second grade learning and growing together.
