Federal Impact Aid (Public Law 81-874) Pupil-Parent Survey
The federal Impact Aid program is designed to assist local school districts that enroll federally connected students. The funds secured from the program will become part of the Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) general operating budget and help reduce the amount of local monies needed to provide a quality education for your children.
LCPS is eligible to receive Impact Aid funds if either parent or guardian is on active duty in the uniformed services or working on federally-owned property located in Virginia. Individuals working on federally-owned property in Virginia may be employed by a private business or contractor, or the federal government.
On Wednesday, November 6, 2019, each LCPS student will bring home a Pupil-Parent Survey form. Please complete the survey for each school-aged child in your household and then return the survey on Friday, November 8, 2019 to the student's classroom teacher. LCPS staff will process the information with the utmost confidentiality.
Should you have questions, or need more information regarding the Pupil-Parent Survey, please call 571-252-1050
or email lcpsplan@lcps.org.
Additional information about Impact Aid is available on the U.S. Department of Education's website.
