Mrs. Mahoney graduated from Geoge Mason University with a Master of Arts in Elementary Education (PK-6) and received her Gifted Endorsement from James Madison University.  She is very excited to begin her nineteenth year teaching!  Mrs. Mahoney is owned and loved by a precious 5 pound Yorkie named Nugget.  She has been married for 13 years to her best friend and high school sweetheart, Brian.  Mrs. Mahoney loves to spend her free time playing or watching sports, especially running around her Ashburn neighborhood with her friends.  Mrs. Mahoney also enjoys reading, shopping, cooking, and spending time with her family.  She grew up in Ohio with four siblings and tries to get back there to visit as much as possible.  Mrs. Mahoney is looking forward to a wonderful year in the SEARCH program and cannot wait to watch her students develop a deeper love of learning!
