• Additional Learning Opportunities

The vision of Virtual Loudoun is to cultivate quality, flexible, self-paced, virtual learning.

STEM learning programs and resources for students in both middle and high school

      Virtual Virginia

Students may not enroll in any Virtual Virginia course currently offered in Virtual Loudoun.  Though Virtual Virginia supplies the teacher for the course, the student's home school and LCPS must provide the following for any student who enrolls in a Virtual Virginia class: all student services, a counselor, a mentor, an adequate study area, access to a computer, high-speed internet access, a scanner, headphones with a microphone, a telephone, as well as other required hardware and software. Textbook, lab materials, and any other required materials must also be purchased by the school system. LCPS does not have the staff or funding to fulfill all of these required obligations and support students taking Virtual Virginia courses.

By enrolling in Virtual Loudoun, all students have access to a dedicated teacher, guidance counselor and staff member to support with any technology issues. In addition, all necessary materials are provided.  If you have additional questions about virtual courses, please contact your student’s home school counselor for assistance.
