HPE 9 CPR/AED/Basic First Aid
CPR/AED/Basic First Aid Training and AssessmentPer new legislation, Health and PE 9 students are required to attend one training session and successfully demonstrate the proper technique and skills for CPR, use of an AED, and Basic First Aid. Please note that students MUST complete all lessons and complete the test BEFORE attending the skills training session. Lessons and tests are located in the course in the tab titled “Introduction to Fitness Logs and Required CPR/AED and First Aid".

HPE 10 PSTD / VADETS
Virtual Loudoun PSTD* InformationFor completion of HPE 10 with Driver Education, students must attend a Partners for Safe Teen Driving 90-minute presentation with a parent. Each presentation will begin promptly at 7pm. Please arrive by 6:45pm with a writing utensil and find a seat. Student and parent must sit together*.*All District 8 presentations must be held from 7:00 pm - 8:30pm. Doors close promptly at 7:05 pm!The parent/guardian and student must attend this 90 minute presentation together. The Code of Virginia regulates these presentations and no late arrivals are permitted.
- 22.1-205. Driver education programs.
The Board of Education shall establish for the public school system a standardized program of driver education in the safe operation of motor vehicles. Such program shall consist of classroom training and behind-the-wheel driver training.
(vii) in Planning District 8, for any student completing a driver education program beginning in academic year 2010 - 2011, an additional minimum 90-minute parent/student driver education component included as part of the in-classroom portion of the driver education curriculum, requiring the participation of the student's parent or guardian and emphasizing parental responsibilities.

Assessment Dates and Information
2019 – 2020
Term 1: The Office of Assessment Services (OAS) will test Virtual Loudoun Term 1 students on Friday, December 13th.
Term 2: OAS will test Term 2 Virtual Loudoun student in May, after the May 8th term end date.
If you have questions about your child’s SOL test date, please contact your child’s School Test Coordinator.Virtual Loudoun students will continue to have access to content materials for review in VISION once a term has ended. It can be found under “My Courses”, where students will see “HS VL SOL and W!SE Resources”.
Non-LCPS students may not be eligible to test. Please contact the Office of Testing with questions regarding SOL testing at 540-751-2590.
W!SE Financial Literacy
W!SE Financial Literacy TestingThis test is offered to those students who are completing Economics and Personal Finance (full 1 credit course) and those taking Personal Finance only (.5 credit) to earn a CTE credential. Testing for Terms 1 and 2 will be administered at each student's home school during the testing windows below. 2018 - 2019 W!SE Online Testing Dates
W!SE has a rolling testing administration window in the Fall/Spring. Students should check with the CTE Department Chair of their respective school to determine when testing will be administered.
