Hi! My name is Kelly Merrow, and this is my fourth year teaching at Meadowland Elementary! I am very excited to be returning to Meadowland Elementary and 2nd grade. I graduated from Averett University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science. After graduation, I taught Preschool and Pre-K at a local early childhood development center. I later took over a leadership role as Program Assistant Director focusing on curriculum instruction, execution and teacher development. Prior to teaching at Meadowland, I completed practicums in K-5 classrooms in Loudoun County and Danville City Public Schools. My student teaching placement was in second grade at Meadowland Elementary. In 2017 I graduated with my Masters in Elementary Education.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family, going to the pool, reading, and volunteering at a non-profit organization. I have lived in Northern Virginia my whole life and I am a big D.C. sports fan. Go Nats!!!  I am from Loudoun County and a proud Dominion High School alumna. I am thrilled to be a part of the Meadowland family and am looking forward to a great year!
